Ricky Haeger, PhD

Ricky holds a PhD in biophysics from McGill University where she researched contractile dynamics of single myofibrils. After completing her degree she started working as a Scientific Officer and Quality Assurance Assistant for a NeuroTech startup. She also took on the Chief Executive role at a Canadian non-profit, where she led and grew a team of innovation enthusiasts, organizing various events focusing on intersectional collaboration and integration of graduate students.
Ricky has 8+ years of experience in project and operations management throughout a range of sectors (academia, clinical management, small business & startup operations).
As an avid traveler, Ricky makes the most of the newfound global acceptance of a remote work lifestyle bringing her work around the world with her.
Nioushah Noushi, PhD

Chief Operations Officer

Nioushah recently completed her PhD in Education at McGill University. Her dissertation explored the conceptualization of social responsibility by educators in dentistry, social work, and education. She is the co-founder of the Coalition for Dentalcare, an advocacy group with the aim of supporting the implementation of universal dental care in Canada. On a similar thread, Nioushah is a member of the Policy and Advocacy Committee of the Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry. As VP Partnerships of a Canadian non-profit, she managed the growth of a network of stakeholders across many sectors, as well as made lasting relationships to empower our community. In her spare time, Nioushah likes to learn new languages, cook delicious meals, and dabble in mixology. She has also been a passionate flamenco dancer for nearly five years.
Teresa Joseph, PhD

Chief Business Development Officer
Teresa graduated with a PhD in neuroscience from McGill University and is currently working as a Scientist and Consultant in clinical research. She has experience in successfully designing and executing multiple projects to facilitate scientific engagement and foster innovation in diverse work settings. As a researcher, she strives to facilitate collaboration with different stakeholders to identify and solve complex medical and scientific problems by working with organizations like the McGill Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics. She held the position of VP Finance for a Canadian non-profit supporting the mission of providing a platform for strengthening the Canadian Innovation ecosystem. She likes to decompress by hiking, travelling, motorcycle riding, and cooking.
